Tools to Enhance Canvas

External tools or apps are an easy way to add new features to Canvas. They can be added to individual courses or all courses in an account. Once configured, you can link to them through course modules and create assignments or assessment tools. Listed below are apps developed here at K-State and by third-parties.

Use Canvas as a Classroom Response System

Classroom Response is an often requested option within Canvas. Some instructors at K-State have piloted using built-in Canvas features instead of a third-party tool. Request a Third-Party App

Division of Information Technology is investigating additional apps that can be added to Canvas. If you would like an app added to Canvas at an institutional, college, department, or course level, complete this form. You will need to provide a contact person, URL for the company, and a use case for the app. Some apps are free and easy to add to Canvas, but some may require additional integration work and costs.
