Personalized Help Session

Instructors can schedule an appointment to meet with a Canvas expert to review their course and answer questions. To schedule a one-on-one or group help session, complete the Request Service form. A Canvas expert will contact you to schedule a help session.

Canvas Guides

Canvas Guides are the online help documents for instructors and students using Canvas. The site is searchable and provides step-by-step lessons on how to use Canvas. The online lessons are continually updated, and many of the lessons include video guides. The downloadable PDF manuals (include manuals for the mobile apps) are updated with every release. To access the Canvas Guides, go to https://community.canvaslms.com/welcome.

Scantron Help

For K-State's Scantron needs, instructors can use a paper version or electronic version through Canvas. For detailed help on how to create an electronic Scantron in Canvas, visit the Scantron help page.

IT Knowledge Base

K-State’s IT Knowledge Base has a Canvas specific section that is the online repository with instructions and answers about everyday tasks and activity in Canvas. Visit the IT Knowledge Base section for Canvas that is specific to K-State.

Service Portal

Service Portal is the web application K-State uses to manage the support/help tickets, the knowledge base information, and includes online help request forms.

Converter Tools

Scantron converter tool

With the Scantron converter tool, a Scantron processed file is converted to a Canvas import and then imported into Grades in Canvas. You must already have some content in your Canvas Gradebook before you can successfully upload any grades from .csv files.
